Trade In & Recycle Electronics!

EcoNew provides trade-in and recycling services for electronics products such as computers, monitors, printers, fax machines, digital cameras, mp3 players, game consoles, and pda's. They work through several retailers including Office Depot. In short, you pay for a box ($5-15 depending on size) which holds your electronics and fill it with as many items as can fit. Office Depot and EcoNew work together to have the box picked up by UPS and the materials taken to a re-use or recycling center where materials are broken down and properly disposed. Clean out those old broken items and dispose of them the right way!

City Fitness Member Spotlight - See Ben Cunis in Synetic's Host and Guest!

(Click on the title bar to go to Synetic's website)

September 26 – November 9, 2008 at Rosslyn Spectrum

Host and Guest centers around two men, one Muslim and one Christian, who befriend each other despite their cultures' long-standing hatred. The people from both villages punish them violently for their friendship, and the entire community is shattered by war. Both villages are Georgian, the confrontation between individual morality and ancient community prejudices is the conflict that brings about the central tragedy of this moving piece.

The play, written by Roland Reed, is based on an epic poem from the Republic of Georgia. Vazha Pshavela wrote the original poem around the turn of the 20th century, and it has become a classic of Georgian literary culture.

Fresh from the successes of the 07/08 season, including a breathtaking Romeo and Juliet and a passion-inflamed adaptation of Carmen, Synetic now turns its signature blend of passionate movement, music, and text towards a story that shakes with connections to modern conflicts all over the world.
